Think that late comics are something new? Well it’s NOT! After reading one of our listeners talk about late comics, we decided to jump in with a history of late comics. We talk about comics being late from the 40’s to the 70’s, with discussions of how they were handled in the Golden Age, late books of the 50’s (including MAD as a magazine), how Marvel used Jack Kirby to keep the trains running on time, and the disaster that was Marvel’s publishing schedule of the 70’s.
We also deal with Joe’s internet issues in the foreign land of Alaska, updates on Cory’s job hunt, endless editing together of dropped Skype calls and the latest comic EVER:Â Detective Comics 567, which had a story that was turned in 15 years late!
