DC comics suffered an attack by their corporate overlords and at least 1/3^rd of their staff have been laid off as Warner Communications had massive layoffs throughout the entire company. DC Universe had their entire staff laid off, DC Direct (the collectible toy division) was shut down, and the rumors of other changes are flying.

In an episode we’d rather not have done, we say good bye to our friend Mike Edmundson. Known as Big Mike, he was an employee at Joe’s shop, but more than that, he was our dear friend, and he passed away last week. He helped run the MCBA conventions, went with us to comics shows, wrestling matches, got married at one of the conventions, but more than that, he was our friend.
