It’s that time again, time for a Super Sized episode where Joe and Cory!! go through the monthly Previews catalog and point out new comics series, interesting collected editions and all sort of other stuff. It’s nearly THREE DAMN HOURS of fun and frivolity!!

Through the month of August we had fill-ins, solo episodes and other things to keep you entertain, but the teeming masses have been asking:

We answer that in this episode and he’s been busy! We also go into Cory!!’s recent orders with discount websites, all of the comic shops Joe has been visiting.

We then get into the recent “Tilting at Windmills” article on The Beat where Brian Hibbs talking about how shipping is hurting comic shops. Cory and Joe talk how the comics market is shifting and Cory!! goes through the sales numbers to remind people that the sky is not falling.

This week, Joe and Cory!! were GOING to review comics, but the world got in the way. Harvey editor/writer Sid Jacobson passed away, and Cory!! talks about his career. This moves to a discussion of Harvey and Star comics as well as the rise and fall of that company.
