Recorded BEFORE Joe went for his second hip replacement, we have our monthly look at what’s cool in Previews, the catalog of what is coming to your comic shops. This is for comics coming out in February, notorious for being the slowest month of the year for new comics. Joe and Cory!! talk about the new series, collected editions, hard covers, trade paperbacks and more that you should look into when you make your order with your local comic shop.
On 12/11/2019, Joe will be getting his second bionic hip, but before that, Cory!!, Butch and Joe drove all over the Twin Cities on Black Friday to find the cheapest comics, the best deals and Condy.
Because they are really 12 year olds pretending to be grownups.
Ride along, enjoy the conversation and get ready for the holidays!
Back in August, Cory!!, Joe, and the ever elusive Butch drove down to Rochester and Winona MN for a day of comic shop geeking. They recorded their inanity on the trip down and back, and we let you listen in onthe ride down. NOW we will let you listed on the ride back!
Sure, the audio quality isn’t all that good, but you get to know what it’s like to be with these bozos in a car for an hour without Butch asking to stop at every bathroom along the way!
The holidays are upon us, much like a
scratchy blanket, so we have decided to give you ideas of things to
give to the geeky and non-geeky people in your life. Joe and Cory!!
go over all sorts of ideas, but they need more suggestions. So, we
invited Dangerous Dan Mohr of the Holiday Geek Expo to join in the
fun as we discuss things to give people as gifts from your geeky
little heart. And, if it does grow three sizes, go the doctor, an
enlarged heart can kill you!
Cory!! and Joe COULD be watching Disney
plus, but instead, they are thinking only of you as they talk about
what’s new in Previews this month. What we do each month is go
through the Comic Book Previews for orders due this month and go over
the new series and graphic novels available to discuss what we will
be buying what we recommend and stories that pop up along the way.
It’s the Super Sized episode for the month, with this one being over

charge of ALL of Marvel including TV and publishing. They then

Join in as we discuss Kingpin, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin and The Big Wheel!
No. Really.
All of this, the usual shenanigans and much, much more!
Every month, there is a new issue of Previews which lists all of the comics coming out in three moths. So, Cory!! and Joe will discuss the new comics, paperbacks, and hardcovers that they will be buying and recommend for YOU to order so you can make sure you get a copy. These episodes are usually Super-sized and this one is no different. Get ready for over 2 hours of comic-y goodness!!
They also discuss:
