Oh, come on, buy the premise, buy the bit. The BBC has has Desert Island Discs where each week a guest, is asked to choose eight recordings that they would take if they were to be cast away on a desert island. So, we talk about what 5 comic strips would they bring to the same desert island. They also discus:

• Believe it or not, they stay on topic for the entire section, so there’s not a lot to type here. Which makes me feel sad, since I like having a lot of stuff here. Still…

After reading the most recent Brian Hibbs column about how comic shops deal with Creator Owned comics, Joe, Cory!! and Jin Wicked have their OWN discussion about creator own comics both selling them and creating them. Retailers have to live on books coming out on time and creator owned books tend to come out a bit less regularly. And by less regularly we mean the creator finally gets around to putting out the book when they get all caught up on their binge watching of TV shows and recovering from convention hangovers.

We are just kidding!
